First use and overview of core features:
Define the following three required fields:
- Location Column - the column that contains the location data for each item, only "location" type columns are supported.
- Pointer Type - Specifies how the pointer will appear on the map: choose between "avatar" or "pointer"
- Pointer styling - The available styling options depend on the selected pointer type. If you choose the "Avatar" type, you must select a column of the "person" type. If you choose the "Pointer" type, you can select a column of type "status", "dropdown", "group" or "color picker".
Configure the Pointer Modal to display the information you need for each item on the map. You can include various column types such as text, numbers, dates, locations, colors, and more.
The item's name will appear in the header of the modal.
Additionally, you can define a list of "External Map Shortcuts", which will be displayed within the pointer modal.
Select your preferred map provider from the list of available options. You can also set the default map position and zoom level by dragging the map to the desired location.
Note: Some map providers require an API key to enable map functionality.
With the Map Pro Extension, there's no need to use the Table View to manage items. You can add, move, and remove items directly on the map.
Available actions:
- Add Single Item – Click on the map to place a new item.
- Add Multiple Items – Add several items by clicking multiple times on the map.
- Remove Location Only – Delete just the location data without removing the item itself.
- Remove Entire Item – Completely delete the item from the board.
